Sarah and Franky were the absolutely sweetest couple and they had such a sweet vision for their wedding day as well.
They wanted to ditch wedding traditions that didn’t feel like them, and only focus on relaxing, enjoying nature and spending quality time with their loved ones. They have come to Stanley a few times on backpacking trips and even though they live all the way in Utah, they knew they wanted to get married in the beautiful Sawtooths!
Sarah and Franky chose the Sawtooth Meditation Chapel as their ceremony spot and Stanley Outpost as the backdrop for their reception. They had guests stand around them during their ceremony, because they wanted to have the feeling of being surrounded by the love of their family and friends! Their friend played the violin for their processional, and they had a few friends read during their ceremony.
They then walked to their reception with all their friends and family, in a parade through downtown Stanley! The bride’s mother made all the florals for the day, and the bud vases dotted the colorful reception tables.
Pie was served instead of cake after dinner and then got straight to dancing the rest of the night away along the river and under the stars!
