Katie and Shane’s fall wedding at the Boise Depot was filled with fun & all the personal touches. With a color scheme of deep maroon and navy, the venue was transformed into gorgeous fall dinner party. Personal touches abounded, from the table names honoring national parks they had visited together to the Greek almonds as party favors, a nod to the bride’s heritage. Cocktail napkins featuring their beloved dog Grizzly on the dessert table, in honor of his absence. The decor also included homey accents, with greenery spilling from vintage growlers, vintage rugs at the ceremony, and brass candlesticks on the dinner tables.
The reception was one of the most lively dance floors I had this wedding season, with guests jamming out to AC/DC & the bluegrass band that played during cocktail hour. The bride even surprised guests by changing into her mother’s original vintage wedding dress for late night dancing & then completing the night with a steamer send off. Katie & Shane were so fun to plan their day with, and that same fun spirit absolutely came through for their big day!
A thank you to our wonderful vendors…
