Finding a wedding dress is hard! So many options, and you want to make sure you pick something that you feel the best in. After all, wedding dresses can be pricey. Here are my favorite Boise Idaho bridal shops to help point you in the right direction.

But first, here are my best tips to help you find a unique dress that reflects your personality and style:

1. Start shopping early. Wedding dresses can take forever to ship! Starting at least 9 months prior to your wedding date gives you more time to look around and find something unique…or order something custom!
2. Think outside the box. Consider unique materials and lace, or try something nontraditional like a jumpsuit or a two-piece ensemble. Suit set anyone?!
3. Look online. Many online retailers offer one-of-a-kind styles that you won’t find in stores. See below for my faves!
4. Shop at vintage stores or consignment shops. You can find some truly unique dresses here. Have you asked Holly about her vintage wedding dress collection?!
5. Have it custom-made. You can design your own dress with the help of a seamstress or tailor. Did you know there are TONS of custom gown options on Etsy?
6. Try something bold. If you’re feeling daring, go for a bright color, an off-the-shoulder style, or a daring neckline. There is nothing like a bride in a red dress.
7. Accessorize. You can make any dress look unique with the right accessories. Wanting a traditional gown but still want to have a unique outfit – get a non-traditional veil or shoes!
